To identify gaps in the current system I worked with my Product Manager on competitive analysis, user testing, and a review of feature requests from existing customers.
Our review lead us to focus on high-impact functionality that would save users time setting up and managing schedules along with improving the overall usability of the calendar.
New views allow users to see schedules in the monthly and daily format in addition to the weekly format of the MVP.
We created robust repeating availability features for better efficiency for our clinical users.
Large health systems need to manage schedules across many practices.
Complex health systems also need to see availability across providers and identify gaps in coverage.
Success Metrics
Improved Satisfaction: The average satisfaction went from 2.67 to 4.12 (out of 5).
Reduced Time Spent: Average time spent per session managing availability dropped from 33:27 to 19:43 mins.  Saving our users a collective 641 days each year.
